Breakfast at Fellside House is a proper one, made with food from the Lake District around us.
It's the meal that sets up a day on the fells, so take your time over it and have seconds if you're heading somewhere high.

Behind the house there's a garden with a fire pit. On a clear evening it's the best seat we have.
Come back from your walk, pull up a chair and let the day settle. It's quiet out there, which is the point.
